Well I haven't see it, but he has one of these and hes doing the Sebring kit. I guess they have a Chevy V6 thats lighter and more HP than the Rover V8. They got Dunlop wheels, not wire. I think my brother must have had something to do with this, but I like it more than the Honda.

I think my brother will help, it should be about 24 hours of work, the swap kit is made for it and its carbureted so not as much work.

Nice! I really like the GTs. I had a regular MGB that I was going to do the Sebring kit on, until I blew it up a second time and moved on to a new project. Good luck to your son. Sounds like a neat project.

S2000 to MGB GT, yep, good parenting right there.

He went through that phase, my brother did something, he seems to be on the right track now haha.

Saw one of these a couple weeks ago with a blown Chevy 350. Thing was nutso. Looked like it would be a hoot to drive until you crashed into a tree.

Those engines are too heavy, they said the best to use is the 3.4L V6 from GM that went into Camaros/S-10s/Saabs.... Lighter and more HP. Its about 160HP I think, the car is light so it should be good.

Yeah, I would definitely go that direction too. This thing was way nuts. Had to be pushing 500 horse at the wheels.

Actually I lied. I would try to make a BMW straight 6 fit.

Yeah thats too much, its not usable, better to be fast and light with a decent amount of HP. They have updated suspension and brakes for these too!

Better measure, they barley got an LS in one.

It might work with one of the old 2.5s. They're pretty compact. Seems like the perfect engine if it would fit. Not as easy to fiddle around with as the American stuff though.

Yeah, its so easy to work on the GM motor. You swap an MG/Jag... to get away from issues!

Indeed. I have an LS1 powered XJS in my future.

Boss. I absolutely love MGB GTs. I really want to make a 911-fighter 3.5-3.9l Rover V8 making about 220bhp. Big flares. Maybe Jaguar IRS as well.
Should be brilliant.
